2020-21 FA Cup 3rd Round Betting Lines

Posted By Alex Blowers on January 5, 2021

The United Kingdom has been plunged into a national lock down for the third time. Elite Sports are allowed to continue which means the Premier League & EFL won’t be interrupted…..for now.

This weekend is the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. All 64 teams will be rigorously tested for COVID-19 in the lead up & we could see some games postponed. We have sides competing from all levels of the Football Pyramid & the magic is still, very much alive.

We have some fairy tale fixtures with 8th tier side Marine FC welcoming José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur to their 3185 (389 seated) capacity Rossett Park stadium. League Two side Crawley Town face off against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.

5th tier Boreham Wood host Championship side Millwall. Morecombe FC aka The Shrimps have a day out in the capital at Stamford Bridge. An upset here could spell the end of Frank Lampard. Aston Villa & Liverpool meet for the first time since Jack Grealish & Co dished out that 7-2 pasting back in October.

There are a total of 32 fixtures taking place this weekend & below is a selection of games.

  • With teams from all levels of the Football Pyramid there’s opportunity for a big win if you back the right upset. Teams are coming off an intense festive schedule & the mental impact of lock down being declared can’t be ignored. The Underdog sides will treat this as the highlight of their year & I think we will definitely see some upsets.
  • Everton, Southampton & Leeds 3 game Money Line Parlay comes out at +148
  • I do like Liverpool at +108. Jurgen Klopp will use the 7-2 loss & recent wobble to motivate his side to a win.
  • Arsenal are the holders & know how to navigate this competition. Back Mikel Arteta’s side -1.5 Goals +138.
