Odds & Ends
Keep in mind, any analysis is subject to change based on incoming and outgoing transfers. We will update this post as matchday 1 approaches.
- On one hand, Newcastle’s underlying metrics last season suggest they are due to massively regress this season. However, Jeff Hendricks was a decent value buy (ie he was free). As were the two Bournemouth pick-ups. And depending on the ownership situation and how that impacts the transfer budget, watch this line over the next two weeks. Could have some value.
- Given the squad upgrade, Chelsea at -134 feels like free money.
- We think Liverpool beats Leeds. However, you could do worse than taking a flier at +1050 on a confident, very well-coached, recently promoted team.
