Man City, Liverpool clear favorites
No surprise here. Man City and Liverpool really separated themselves from the pack the past two season. Don’t expect another run at 100 points from Liverpool next campaign though. However, the prospects of Messi going to Man City has moved the fake club from +100 to -139. Liverpool has dropped from +180 to +230 as of August 31st.
Liverpool is getting dinged from a lack of transfer activity as well. Of the Big 4 (including Man U and Chelsea), they’re the only squad not likely to really strengthen themselves in this truncated off-season.
Man U, Chelsea should be flipped
Manchester United are on a good run of form…against some really bad teams. Yes, they’ve improved. But Chelsea will improve even more. If the Blues can add a quality defensive piece, they could make a run at the top 2. Pricing them equally at +1400 does make sense.
