DraftKings DFS Picks for January 1st, 2020

Harry Kane ($8,900) –No Son Heung-min this one (red card) which will leave more shots for Kane. Southampton is in good form, but Spurs should still find the net in this one.

Raul Jimenez ($8,700) – The Wolves are riding high on confidence after beating Man City and giving Liverpool all they could handle. Away at Watford is a nice reward. Jimenez and Adama Traore ($8,800) are both good plays against the Hornets.

Teemu Puki ($6,000) – Pukki has been putrid the last two matches (0.2 FPP). That’s the bad news. The good news is it’s driven his price low. Pukki still has 12 goals this season and is always a threat.

James Maddison ($9,700) – It’s a good match-up for Maddison who will be very active throughout. He’s three straight games under 10 FPP which hasn’t happened this season. With a little extra rest, Maddison makes for a strong rebound play.

Dele Alli ($7,400) – Alli has cooled off a little from his initial post-Mourinho burst. But with Son out, Alli should find a few more shots to be had.

Wilfried Zaha ($6,100) – Zaha has a low ceiling. However, Palace is sure to score against Norwich. Another rebound play and good value.

Serge Aurier ($5,400) – You don’t want him actually playing defense for you, but he’s been very strong of late going forward. He’s averaging 11.3 FFP over his last 3.

Ricardo Pereira ($5,000) – His prices keeps going up but we’re going to keep rolling with him. He’s got a high floor (only less than 7 FFPs once in his last 10) and a good match-up. He scored a goal the last time they played and should have opportunities again this match.

Lukasz Fabianski ($5,400) is back and will be a strong play every match he’s available. If you need to save some money, Jordan Pickford ($3,700) will face a volume of shots against Man City in a match that Everton could pull a surprise result.

Low Cost Lottery Tickets

These are players priced under $5,000 who could help fill out a roster.

  • Matt Doherty ($4,900) – Crazy good value for Doherty here. Last time these teams played, Doherty had a goal and MotM performance.
  • Wilfred Ndidi ($3,800) – Make sure he starts, but he’s a tackle machine and can get you around 8 points at a low cost. He had a MotM performance against Newcastle earlier this year.
