UEFA has pushed the Euro 2020 until 2021.
The 24-team tournament, originally scheduled for June 12th to July 12th this summer and held in 12 countries, will now likely occur between June 11th – July 11th 2021. This will free domestic leagues to complete their season over the summer–assuming the spread of COVID-19 has slowed.
The 2020-21 domestic league schedule, along with the Champions League and Europa League, may be altered as well.
