BREAKING: Premier League to Restart on June 17 with Manchester City vs Arsenal

The Premier League has agreed to restart competition on June 17th.

The restart was agreed upon at at shareholder meeting on Thursday.

The midweek restart date will reportedly feature FFP violating Manchester City, who are currently sitting second in the table 25 points adrift of Liverpool, hosting Arsenal. Aston Villa will host Sheffield United. These two fixtures will get all clubs level on games.

After that, the remaining 90 games will start on the weekend of June 20-21st, with a possible TV match slotted for Friday the 19th.

The season would wrap by August 1st.
