Out: Ermin Bičakčić (Knee), Marco John (Shouder), Pavel Kaderábek (Ankle), Robert Skov (Thigh), Christoph Baumgartner (Thigh), Sebastian Rudy (Knock)
Doubtful: Andrej Kramarić (Concussion), Benjamin Hübner (Match Fitness)
Suspended: None
Coach: Sebastian Hoeneß

There’s a strong chance Andrej Kramaric will be unavailable. He picked up a concussion playing against Russia and has been Hoffenheim’s biggest attacking threat contributing two goals and six assists. With Christoph Baumgartner out as well I think 19-year-old Georginio Rutter will play up top alongside Ihlas Bebou and Jacob Bruun Larsen.

USMNT Chris Richards and David Raum should return to the starting lineup with Stefan Posch dropping to the bench, and Robert Skov ruled out with a thigh injury. 20-year-old Angelo Stiller will be handed his 6th start of the season as Sebastian Hoeneß deals with several injuries to his established players.

Out: Marcel Halstenberg (Ankle), Marcelo Saracchi (Knee), Yussef Poulsen (Calf)
Doubtful: Amadou Haidara (Ankle), Konrad Laimer (Groin), Dominik Szoboszlai (Thigh)
Suspended: None
Coach: Jesse Marsch

Dani Olmo is back, and I would play him ahead of Emil Forsberg. The Spaniard’s creativity and movement can cause Hoffenheim’s defense problems and help André Silva rediscover his goalscoring form. He has only found the net twice in the Bundesliga, and last season was on nine goals for Eintracht Frankfurt at this point.

Willi Orban has recovered from his thigh injury and will lead the back three. I think Benjamin Henrichs will drop to the bench with Nordi Mukiele being favored at right-wingback. With Amadou Haidara a doubt, we will likely see Kevin Kampl slot into central midfield alongside Tyler Adams.

When Dominik Szoboszlai returns from injury, I would love to see Marsch switch to a 4-2-3-1. Szoboszlai, Nkunku, and Olmo behind Silva would be one of the most exciting front four’s in Europe, and they would be devastating if they all clicked.

Hoffenheim have won their last three games at the PreZero Arena, but I think that run ends on Saturday. Hoeneß doesn’t have the squad depth to deal with so many key players getting injured. Kramarić and Baumgartner’s absence is a massive blow to their forward line.

Their opponent Leipzig is starting to find their feet under Marsch and will want to build on their impressive 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. With Orban reinforcing the backline and Forsberg available from the bench, they have the quality and depth to collect all three points.

Both sides’ last five matches have all finished with two goals or more. I recommend adding Over 1.5 Goals to boost the odds.
