FC KÖLN VS EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

Bas Dost (2 goals + 2 assists) & André Silva (2 goals + 1 assist) have started the season off in blistering form for Eintracht Frankfurt.

FC Köln have lost all three games & are sitting 16th in the relegation playoff spot. New signing Sebastian Andersson got off to a promising start against Hoffenheim with a goal but his registered just one shot on target in his last two games. It’s looking like this season will be a struggle for the Billy Goats as they face another year fighting for survival.

The line on Frankfurt opened at +125 & has dropped to +116 already. Jump on them quick

Prediction – 2 Units: Eintracht Frankfurt Money Line +116

SCHALKE VS FC UNION BERLIN

Manuel Baum had a rough start to his Schalke career with an away trip to RB Leipzig. They were resoundingly beaten 4-0 & showed no signs of a new manager bounce. I think he got his tactics all wrong instructing his back line to play very narrow. This afforded too much space & time down the wings & Leipzig exploited this with 19 crosses into Schalke’s box scoring form two.

FC Union Berlin have had a solid start to the season with a win, a draw & a loss. They aren’t the most talented side in the Bundesliga but they are industrious & play to their strengths. Honestly, that’s all a team needs right now to beat awful Schalke side.

I’ve backed teams to beat Schalke all three Matchdays so far & won on all of them. We’ve still got a few weeks left to make money off them.

Prediction – 1 Unit: FC Union Berlin Money Line +170

BAYERN HALF TIME/FULL TIME BET

Bayern Munich had a busy end to the transfer window with four new signings coming in to add depth to the squad. Defensive midfielder Marc Roca joined from Espanyol & right back Bouna Sarr traded Olympique de Marseille for Bavarian life.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting returns to the Bundesliga after previous spells with Hamburg, Nuremburg, Mainz & Schalke. He’s been at PSG for the last two seasons playing backup to Edinson Cavani, Neymar, Kylian Mbappé & Mauro Icardi. The Cameroon international will do a similar role at Bayern filling in for Robert Lewandowski.

I think he’s a great signing. When you look at the market there aren’t any other players available who have experience playing as a backup striker at an elite club. Choupo-Moting didn’t cause any issues at PSG & his Bundesliga experience is another big positive.

Finally, Douglas Costa returns on loan from Juventus after Chelsea rejected their offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi. The Brazilian spent two seasons at the Allianz Arena winning back-to-back titles 2015-17. Another great signing who brings a wealth of experience & quality to the squad.

This weekend Hansi Flick takes his side to newly promoted Arminia Bielefeld. Eintracht Frankfurt dominated them in the opening game of the season & should have taken all 3 points. Die Roten are a much better side & buoyed by their new signings will record another victory here.

Prediction – 2 Units: Bayern Half Time/Full Time -182
