Bundesliga Matchday 11 Betting Tips

Posted By Alex Blowers on December 10, 2020

Only 1 of my bets cashed in Matchday 10 & I finished with a 1.14 Unit loss.

RB Leipzig produced a magnificent performance at the Allianz Arena to make my Bayern Munich -2.5 Goals bet look very foolish. Thomas Müller sang the praises of 17 year old Jamal Musiala in his post match interview. The teenager came on in the 25th minute & impressed in the center of the pitch with a well struck goal.

Eligible to play for England & Germany, The FA & DFB have already started fighting over this prodigious talent.

Bad defending & poor finishing cost me here. VFL Wolfsburg came from behind twice, thanks to a brilliant free kick from Maximillian Arnold & powerful header by Wout Weghorst.

The second half was all Die Wölfe but they failed to test Timo Horn with just 1 of their 10 attempts on target. Renato Steffan missed the best chance & FC Köln earned a much needed point.

You can always rely on Schalke 04 to make you money. As expected, Bayer Leverkusen dominated this game & won 3-0 for -1.5 Goals to easily cash.

There was a potential hiccup at 2-0 when Daley Sinkgraven gave away a penalty. Steven Skrzybski stepped up & in true Schalke fashion missed. This underlines how much things are going against the Bundesliga’s bottom side.

This last week must be one of the best in Julian Nagelsmann’s managerial career. Alexander Sörloth scored a 92nd minute winner against Istanbul Basaksehir, drew 3-3 with Bayern & beat Manchester United 3-2 to qualify for the Champions League Knockout Stages.

USMNT Josh Sargent has been in great form for Werder Bremen this season. He was absent in their 5-3 loss to Wolfsburg a couple of weeks ago & Florian Kohfeldt made a point of highlighting the 20 year olds importance.

“Josh is obviously able to bring a bit more physicality out on the pitch, while still remaining dangerous up front. That’s why his absence really hurt us and it’s the biggest compliment you can pay him, that you could really notice that he wasn’t there.”

Sargent returned last weekend in the 2-1 loss to VFB Stuttgart but only lasted 59 minutes. I expect him to play the full 90 here & Bremen have performed well against some of the better clubs with draws against Bayern, Eintracht Frankfurt & Hoffenheim.

Key players Angelińo, Emil Forsberg, Amadou Haidara, Nordi Mukiele, Ibrahima Konaté & Marcel Sabitzer have started the last 3 games. The emotional & physical toll of those fixtures catches up with Leipzig & they slip up here.

Prediction – 1 Unit: Werder Bremen or the Draw +230

Eintracht Frankfurt earned a big point against Borussia Dortmund last week. Adi Hütter’s side have performed better against the big sides this season with a draw against Leipzig & wins against Hoffenheim & Hertha Berlin.

No other sides have drawn more matches than these two. VFL Wolfsburg have tied 6 games & Frankfurt 7 games. Both have quality strikers with Wout Weghorst & André Silva on 7 goals each for the season.

5 points separate these sides & Wolfsburg are unbeaten whilst Frankfurt have only lost once away to Bayern. These two sides are pretty evenly matched & I think we’ll see them play out another draw.

Prediction – 1 Unit: Draw +265

Alphonso Davies made his return from injury as Hansi Flick rested key players in the 2-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow. Robert Lewandowski, Kingsley Coman, David Alaba & Benjamin Pavard didn’t feature & Lucas Hernández, Serge Gnabry & Thomas Müller played 45 minutes or less.

FC Union Berlin were dealt the devastating news that Max Kruse will be out for the next eight weeks with a torn muscle bundle. The veteran forward has transformed Union’s attacking style & he is irreplaceable. Urs Fischer extended his contract this week & it will take something special for them to get anything out of this game.

Bayern are fully rested & will start this game well.

Prediction – 3 Units: Bayern Half Time/Full Time -137
