Bundesliga Matchday 22 Betting Tips: Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich

Matchday 21 felt like a kick in the dick after finishing down by 0.361 Units.

FC Union Berlin and FC Schalke 04 finished 0-0 for my Under 2.5 Goals bet to cash. Eintracht Frankfurt won comfortably 2-0 for the 1st part of my 2 Game Money Line Parlay to hit. The other part was all down to Bayer Leverkusen, who were facing 17th placed side Mainz 05. Leverkusen was 2-0 up with 88 minutes gone & ended up drawing 2-2……Unbelievable!

Eintracht Frankfurt VS Bayern Munich Betting Tips

This match has the potential to be one of the games of the season. We have the most in-form and highest-scoring sides in the Bundesliga, Frankfurt (43 goals) up against the mighty FIFA World Club Champions Bayern Munich (61 Goals).

Frankfurt is on a 10 game unbeaten streak, which consists of 8 wins and 2 draws. They have scored 27 goals on this run, and star striker André Silva has 11 of those. Bayern is on a similar run themselves with 8 wins, 1 draw & 1 defeat in their last 10 league matches. They have scored 26 goals across these games, and the World’s best Number 9, Robert Lewandowski, has scored 12 of them. Neither side is known for their defensive solidity, with both conceding an average of 1.38 goals a game (29 in total).

Silva is grabbing the headlines, but LWB Filip Kostić shouldn’t be forgotten when praising this Frankfurt side. The Serbian international has been in brilliant form this past month, providing 6 assists in their last 6 games. He is streets ahead of everyone when it comes to crosses from open play with 98 (Angeliño is second with 76). RB Benjamin Pavard should return to the starting lineup for Bayern after being rested in their 3-3 draw with Arminia Bielefeld. This will be one of the key battles in this game, and I think we will see a defensive and disciplined performance from Pavard.

This stat is pretty crazy. Silva (18 goals) and Lewandowski (25 goals) have scored 43 goals between them this season. That’s more goals than the other 16 Bundesliga sides have managed.

Everything points to an end-to-end high-scoring thriller, and that’s what I’m backing here.

Prediction – 2 Units: Over 3.5 Goals – 139 + 1 Unit: Over 4.5 Goals +163 + 1 Unit: André Silva and Robert Lewandowski Parlay to Both Score Anytime YES +250

Arminia Bielefeld VS Vfl Wolfsburg Betting Tips

Who’s going to score against VfL Wolfsburg?

Oliver Glasner’s side has now gone 5 games (450 minutes) without conceding a goal in the Bundesliga. It’s a great achievement when you consider the league is averaging 3.05 goals a game, and the average goals conceded per game is 1.53. They’ve been decent in the final third with 8 goals during this run that has yielded 4 wins and a draw. They have gone into halftime leading in 3 of those 4 wins.

Bielefeld is the next side to try, and they only managed to score 10 in their opening 17 games. Uwe Nauhaus’s side has scored 8 in their last 4 games, but they lack an out-and-out goalscorer with  Ritsu Doan and Fabian Klos top of the charts with just 3. They managed to put 3 past Bayern on Monday, but the weather was a huge factor. Bayern spent a week in Qatar enjoying the sun and celebrating their FIFA World Club Cup win. To come back to the Allianz Arena and play Bielefeld in the middle of a snowstorm must have been a shock to the system for Hansi Flick’s side.

I have absolute faith in Wolfsburg extending their clean sheet run to 6 games and scoring early to win this comfortably 2-0 or 3-0.

Prediction – 2 Units: VFL Wolfsburg -0.5 Goals 1st Half Handicap +118 + 1 Unit: VFL Wolfsburg -1.5 Goals +235

FC Augsburg VS Bayer Leverkusen Betting Tips

My main thinking behind this is Leverkusen can’t screw me 2 weeks in a row, right?

They have a Europa League fixture on Thursday night away to BSC Young Boys in Switzerland. Peter Bosz’s side hasn’t lost this season after playing in Europe with 5 wins and 1 draw. 4 of those victories were by 2 goals or more. I know they were in better form back then, but playing every 3 days could be what this young side needs to get the best out of them.

When we look at their last 4 meetings, Leverkusen has beaten FC Augsburg by 2 goals or more. Plus, Augsburg has lost 7 of their last 9 league games, and 5 of those were by 2 goals or more.

I think we have a solid bet here.

Prediction – 2 Units: Bayer Leverkusen -1.5 Goals +185
