Bundesliga Matchday 32 Betting Tips: Bayern Munich Make It 8

Augsburg & Union Berlin pulled 7 points clear of the relegation zone in MD 31 with hard earned victories. Werder Bremen stunned everyone as they romped to a 5-1 win over SC Paderborn.

We have another “Englische Woche” for MD 32 with Bayern Munich poised to win the Bundesliga & games are running out for Robert Lewendowski to break Gerd Müller’s record of 40 goals in a single Bundesliga season.

Gladbach have been a real Jekyll & Hyde team since the restart (2W, 1D & 3L’s) missing some great opportunities to cement their place in the top four. Alassane Pléa is back from suspension but Marcus Thuram is doubtful with an ankle injury & we may have to wait till next season to see these two play together again.

Wolfsburg have a 100% record away from home since the restart winning all three fixtures. Most notable of those victories was the 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen. Top scorer Wout Weghorst has rediscovered his form scoring three in his last two games.

Wolfsburg have performed better against stronger opposition. Combine that with Gladbach’s inconsistency & at +250, there’s definite value here.

Prediction – Wolfsburg on the Money Line +250

Leverkusen dominated possession & continued their 20 game streak of scoring at least one goal but still came up short against Schalke for MD31’s 3 game Parlay. They managed just a draw & that point has put Champions League qualification in their own hands.

I fully expect Leverkusen to bounce back here against a Köln side that has nothing to play for with survival all but confirmed. There’s also the small matter of the DFB Pokal final with players wanting to prove to David Bosz they deserve to start.

Prediction – Leverkusen on the Money Line -215

Bayern were struggling against Gladbach & it looked like their title win would be delayed by a few days. Leon Goretzka had other ideas as he powered into the box to deftly finish Benjamin Pavard’s cross on the 86th minute.

Die Roten face Werder Bremen on Tuesday with Robert Lewendowski & Thomas Müller back from suspension to wrap up this title & start the celebrations.

Dani Olmo’s brace against Hoffenheim has put Leipzig 3 points short of Champions League qualification. With star striker Timo Werner on the verge of joining Chelsea they’ll need it to help attract a suitable replacement.

Fortuna put a big performance in against BVB & will be disheartened by the last-minute loss. They have failed to win in 9 games against the top five. Julian Nagelsmann’s team have the extra day of rest & will go all out to confirm a top four finish ASAP.

Erling Haaland returned from injury to head in a 95th minute winner for Dortmund against a resolute Düsseldorf. With Champions League qualification guaranteed & Bayern out of sight there’s not much to play for here.

I think Lucian Favre will rest some big names here & save them for Saturday’s visit to Leipzig. The players coming in will be strong enough to get all 3 points against a struggling Mainz side who face Werder Bremen on Saturday in what will be one of the biggest games of the season.

Werder Bremen VS Bayern Munich ML
RB Leipzig ML VS Fortuna Düsseldorf
Borussia Dortmund ML VS FSV Mainz

Wins: 10
