Carabao Cup Betting 21/22: Semifinal 2nd Leg Lines and Futures

Written By Alex Blowers on January 10, 2022

Hopefully, we’ll see two Carabao Cup fixtures go ahead this week. Last week’s match between Liverpool and Arsenal was postponed after the competition accepted Jürgen Klopp‘s side’s application to postpone the fixture due to injuries, Covid-19, and players away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Both matches are available to watch live on ESPN+.

Read on for my Carabao Cup Semifinal Betting Tips and Futures.

Here are the futures for the four sides left in the competition:

  • Chelsea +110
  • Liverpool +190
  • Arsenal +350
  • Tottenham +1400

Chelsea‘s 2-0 first-leg win have seen their odds slashed to +110. Their opponents Tottenham have jumped to a whopping +1400 and are worth putting some pizza money behind if you think they can turn things around. A 2-0 win would see this game to extra-time and then penalties if the scores are still even after 30 minutes. It’s unlikely but definitely not impossible.

Last week’s postponement has seen Liverpool’s odds drop slightly from +200 to +190 and Arsenal’s increase to +350 from +300. The Gunners fans will feel hard done by that the rearrangement has led to them losing home advantage in the First Leg.

I have shouted Chelsea from the 3rd Round at +600,  4th Round at +500, and last week at +200 so it’s pretty easy to guess who I’m backing.

Carabao Cup Betting: Semifinal 2nd Leg Lines and Futures

*Odds Taken from DraftKings Sunday, January 9th, 6 PM EST

  • Parlay Chelsea To Win and Over 1.5 Goals at +260 is excellent value. Tottenham needs to score in this game and will take risks which will give The Blues the opportunity to hit them on the counter and book their ticket to the final.
  • I like Both Teams To Score YES and Over 2.5 Goals for Liverpool vs. Arsenal. I think we’ll see goals in this game as both sides try to take control of the tie.
