Euro 2020 Match Lines for June 23, 2021

Posted By High Press 10 on June 22, 2021

Euro 2020 group play wraps Wednesday with an impressive slate of meaningful matches. Expect chaos.

Here’s a look at the matches, odds, and where each team stands.

Slovakia vs Spain

Group E is intriguing. This match has Slovakia as the biggest underdog of the entire group stage. However, Slovakia is ahead of Spain (3 points to 2). Should Spain be favored? Sure. By those odds? Erm.

Spain must beat Slovakia to go through. And they could still go through as group winners if Sweden lose (or draw even depending on gd). Also, Spain would qualify as a third place finisher with a draw and a Poland loss.

Slovakia need a draw to advance. They can finish atop the group with a win and a Sweden draw or loss.

This match takes place at 12pm ET. In the US, it can be viewed on ESPN.

  • Slovakia +1400| Draw +525| Spain -455

Sweden vs Poland match line

Ok, Poland is favored. But their path to advancement is complicated af. Deep breath:

  • Poland must beat Sweden to guarantee knockout round soccer. They can still finish top of group too depending on Slovakia / Spain results.
  • If Poland win and Slovakia vs Spain tie:
    • If Poland win by any scoreline other than 1-0, they advance as group winners in the 3-team head-to-head mini-league.
    • If Poland win 1-0, Slovakia win the group, Poland are second and Sweden are third.
    • If Poland win 2-1, they win the group, Sweden are second and Slovakia are third.
    • If Poland win by any other one-goal score, they win the group, Sweden are second and Slovakia third.
    • If Poland win by more than one goal, they win the group. Slovakia are second. Sweden come in third.

Got it?

This match takes place at 12pm ET. In the US, it can be viewed on ESPN.

  • Sweden +185| Draw +235 | Poland +155

Portugal vs France

France has already qualified. If they win, they advance in the top spot. If they draw, they also advance in first if Germany do not win.

For Portugal, a draw assures they advance. A win can see them top the group if German do NOT win. Portugal could also qualify in third so long as they don’t lose by more than 3 goals AND Hungary lose.

This match takes place at 3pm ET. In the US, it can be viewed on ESPN.

  • Portugal +190 | Draw +185| France +132

Germany vs Hungary match line

Slovakia, hold Hungary’s beer.

Hungary is the biggest underdog now of the group stage.

Has Germany done enough (or Hungary done so little) to justify that line? No. Here’s what is on the line:

  • A draw assures Germany advance.
  • Germany finish top with a win and a France loss.
  • A draw puts Germany into the top two as long as Portugal lose.
  • Hungary are a longer shot. Basically, they just need to win to advance.

This match takes place at 3pm ET. In the US, it can be viewed on ESPN.

  • Germany -560| Draw +650 | Hungary +1500
