Transfer activity and rumors–particularly Lionel Messi to Manchester City–has caused line movement for many.

Messi makes Man City odds-on favorites
The GOAT going to the Etihad has moved City’s title odds from evens to -139.
City has strengthened their squad all around. If anything, Manchester’s fake club should be considered larger favorites, with or without the GOAT.
Liverpool title odds dropping
On the other hand, holders Liverpool are seeing their odds go longer. The Reds have moved from +180 to +230.
Liverpool missed out on top target Timo Werner. To date, they’ve only added a back-up left-back. Yeah, there’s been three off-seasons of “Naby Keita looks great in training!” Unless he can actually start impacting real games (as Takumi Minamino appears on the cusp of doing), Liverpool could see their point haul drop by a sizable margin this campaign.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are priced equally at +1400.
City and Liverpool are clearly the class, but Chelsea have enough firepower to outscore anyone. They’re a year away from being considered legitimate contenders. However, at +1400 they’re worth a flier.
Leeds getting loads of respect
It’s rare to see a recently promoted team given “top 8” odds treatment, but that is the case with Leeds United.
Leeds has spent a sum this offseason to ensure their stay in top division football is permanent. To see them priced ahead of Wolves is surprising.
