Jurgen Klopp Takes a Shot at Kyle Walker’s Trolling

Written By High Press 10 on February 1, 2019

Never one to hold back his opinions or miss a chance to defend his squad, Jurgen Klopp shared his view on Kyle Walker’s deleted Twitter trolling of Liverpool.

Said the Reds manager:

I cannot help that. I am not sure what that says about us, it says something more about the other person. I never celebrated that another team dropped points or lost a game. For me that’s not allowed.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola predictably was like, what’s the big deal, saying, “I’m not concerned about the social media of the players, what they tweet or Instagram, or other social media. I cannot control it.”

Will be interesting to see if Manchester City drop points against Arsenal and Liverpool gain 3 against West Ham if any of the Reds fire back on social media (and what Klopp would say then).
