LaLiga: How To Stream In The US

As it’s known in English-speaking countries, LaLiga is the top level of the Spanish football system. In Spain, it is commonly known as Primera División. The league features 20 clubs with the sides playing each other twice (19 at home and 19 away) from August to May for a total of 380 games. The league normally takes a two-week winter break for Christmas and New Year.

Teams are awarded 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and none for a defeat. The team with the most points at the end of the season are awarded the LaLiga title. The three teams who finish with the least amount of points are relegated to the Segunda División.

Those teams are replaced by three teams promoted from the Segunda División. The two teams who finish first and second and the team who wins the end-of-season playoffs.
