In a scathing Instagram post, Lionel Messi blasted Barcelona’s board over Luis Suarez’s exit to Atleti.
The GOAT’s post shows how fractured the relationship is between Messi and the club. It could be a very long season at Camp Nou.

In his post, Messi says:
“It will be strange to see you in another shirt and even stranger to play against you…You deserved to depart for who you are: one of the most important players in the club’s history, winning things as part of a group and individually. Not for them to kick you out as they have done. But the truth is nothing surprises me anymore.”
According to reports, Suarez was willing to stay and accept a bench role for new manager Ronald Koeman. However, in a brief one minute phone call, Koeman made it clear to Suarez he was not wanted at Camp Nou this season.
Neymar chimes in as well
Messi firing shots at Barca’s board opened up the flood gates. Many of Suarez’s ex-teammates chimed in as well.
Neymar posted: “It’s unbelievable how they do things.”
Angel di Maria applauded the post.
Luis Suarez goes full on bromance with Messi
Suarez commented on Messi’s post as well. The Uruguay striker thanked Messi for his friend for being the “funny” and “sentimental” person he is.
