Liverpool’s 6-0 demolition of Leeds United on Wednesday means the title race is back on. It looked over a few weeks ago when Manchester City were 12 points clear, and Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané left for the Africa Cup of Nations. Jürgen Klopp’s side have reduced City’s lead to three points and the two are set to meet on April 10th in what is shaping up to be the biggest game of the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE ROUNDUP
HAS ANTONIO CONTE HAD ENOUGH AT SPURS ALREADY?
Antonio Conte didn’t hold back in Wednesday’s post-match press conference after watching his side lose 1-0 to Burnley. The defeat leaves them seven points off the Top 4. Clearly frustrated, the Italian said:
“It was a difficult night. It’s not only tonight, in the last five games we lost four games. It means there will be an assessment about the club, about me, because I think for me it is very frustrating to lose four out of five.
“For sure the situation speaks clear. I am really sorry for the fans, I am really sorry because I think they don’t deserve this. But when you lose four out of five it means the club have to make an assessment, also to speak together, and to understand which is the best solution.
“In this situation the players are always the same in this club, the club change coaches, but the players are the same, but the result doesn’t change.
“I repeat, I am too honest to accept this type of situation, and for sure we will make an assessment with the club, because I repeat, it is not right, it is not right, it is not good for everybody to continue to lose and I can’t accept this. It’s not good for nobody.
“In the last five games we’ve lost four. This is reality. Not the performance. We lost four of the last five, nobody deserves this situation, this is the reality.
“I came in to try to improve the situation but maybe in this moment, I don’t know. I’m not so good to improve it. It is very frustrating. Working hard, working a lot and trying to get out the best of players. Too honest to close my eyes.”
I don’t think Spurs fans need to be too concerned. Daniel Levy will convince Conte to stay and gives him the transfer funds he craves to reshape Tottenham’s squad into his own.

PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING ANALYSIS AND TIPS
- Ignore Tottenham’s result against Burnley and take them on the Moneyline at -105. Their opponent Leeds United have conceded 16 goals in their last four matches, and several key players are out injured. Back Spurs to get the three points.
- Brentford have collected one point from their last seven matches while Newcastle have taken 12. Momentum is firmly with Eddie Howe’s side, and I recommend backing them on the Moneyline at +200.
- I think Watford +1.5 Goals on the Spread at -110 is worth considering. Manchester United struggles to break sides down, and I can see them laboring to a 1-0 or 2-1 win.
- I like Manchester City -1.5 Goals on the Spread at -125. The Citizens have had the entire week to digest last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Tottenham and will want to show everyone why their favorites for the title.
