Premier League Matchday 21 Lines: Does Arsenal Have Any Intention of Winning Again?

Posted By High Press 10 on December 30, 2019

The grueling festive period is coming near an end. The Premier League has a slate of New Year’s Day matches (and one on the 2nd) before finally letting the lads rest a little.

Not a lot of marquee match-ups mid-week. Ultimately, that’s fine. Everyone needs to catch their breath.

However, Manchester United travel to the Emirates to play a reeling Arsenal side. United have vaulted into 5th place, four off Chelsea. Arsenal have slid down to 12th. They’re an astonishing 31 points behind Liverpool. How is that even possible? Arsenal are desperate for a win. It probably will not come on New Year’s Day, though.

Here’s a look at Premier League matchday 21 lines.

Odds & Ends

  • While Man U have struggled on the road, Arsenal have struggled everywhere. That won’t change on Wednesday. Expect a somewhat comfortable 2-1 United win.
  • Wolves are playing with real confidence. Shockingly, so are Watford. Regardless, Wolves at +130 even away at Watford is free money.
  • Will David Moyes really give West Ham a new manager bounce? They’re odds-on against a struggling Bournemouth. This match has real implications in the relegation race. A draw seems likely.
  • Carlo Ancelotti will have some time to train his squad this week leading to a match at the Etihad. It’ll be interesting to see how improved Everton will look. And it won’t matter. City still win this one.
