Premier League Matchday 28 Betting Lines: North London Derby

Posted By Alex Blowers on March 9, 2021

Bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham meet this weekend for the North London Derby.

This is one of the Premier League’s marquee fixtures, and we have seen some fantastic battles across the years. I feel this installment will be an entertaining game as both sides need 3 points to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for Europe next season.

Liverpool’s blip has developed into a full-blown crisis. 6 home defeats in a row have seen them drop down to 8th and 7 points outside the Top 4. Jurgen Klopp’s side has fared better on the road with 3 wins in their last 4 away games. They travel to Molineaux on Monday to face Wolves who have been really poor in recent months.

I’m looking forward to seeing Thomas Tuchel go up against Marcelo Bielsa in Saturday’s early game. These two managers are meticulous in their pregame planning, and it will make for a great contest between Leeds United and Chelsea.

Here are the 2020-21 Premier League Matchday 28 Betting Lines.

  • I’m surprised to see Arsenal favorites in the North London Derby with their away trip to Olympiacos on Thursday evening in the Europa League. Tottenham has a home fixture against Dynamo Zagreb, and Gareth Bale is rediscovering his form with 6 goals and 3 assists in his last 6 games. Back Spurs at +175.
  • I like Leicester City -1.5 Goal Handicap at +140. The Foxes are out of Europe and will have had 8 days of rest for this game against Sheffield United.
  • This is the weekend Brighton turns it around and gets a win. Back Graham Potter’s side at +180.
  • Parlaying Manchester City and Leicester Money Line is good value at -105.
