Premier League Matchday 29 Lines: Liverpool vs Chelsea Battle for Top 4

Posted By Alex Blowers on March 1, 2021

The Premier League announced these 7 fixture changes Friday, February 19th, which is very short notice by their usual standards.

Liverpool has probably come off the worse with four fixtures in 11 days as the authorities accommodate TV coverage. Jurgen Klopp’s side will have 66 hours between Thursday evening’s game against Chelsea and Sunday’s match with Fulham. Three days later, they welcome RB Leipzig to Anfield for the second leg of their Champions League clash.

The physical demands being put upon the players is a complete joke. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few more Premier League stars join the injury list in the next couple of weeks.

Here are the 2020-21 Premier League Matchday 29 Betting Lines.

PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHDAY 29 BETTING LINES

ODDS & ENDS

  • Jurgen Klopp against Thomas Tuchel is the big story in Liverpool vs. Chelsea. They both had similar paths to the top after starting their managerial careers at Mainz 05 before moving onto Borussia Dortmund. I think this game will be a tight affair, and I like Under 2.5 Goals at +110.
  • Burnley or the Draw -117 is good value. Leicester City will be without Harvey Barnes and probably James Maddison due to injury. These two are The Foxes most important creative players with 17 goals and 9 assists between them this season.
  • Aston Villa is solid on the Money Line at +120. No matter how hard Sheffield United tries, they just can’t seem to get a break and win.
