The Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year for 2020: All Ballots Revealed

Robert Lewandowski was named FIFA Men’s Player of the Year for 2020. The Bayern Munich striker out-voted Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for top honors.

National team captains, coaches, and key media members vote for this award and FIFA makes the ballots public.

Some interesting gems: Ronaldo voted for Messi, but the GOAT did not vote for Cristiano this year.

Jurgen Klopp was named Coach of the Year for the second time.

Bayern Munich and Liverpool players dominated the World XI Best squad as well:

Goalie: Alisson Becker (Liverpool and Brazil)
Defense: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool and England), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool and Netherlands), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid and Spain), Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich and Canada)
Midfield: Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich and Germany), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City and Belgium), Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool and Spain)
